Italian exam preparation (Lev.A1-A2-B1), what is it?

The foreign citizen who has lived legally in Italy for more than 5 years and intends to apply for the EC permit for long-term residents (article 9 of the consolidated immigration law) must take and pass the test of knowledge of the Italian language,

 

Requirements

 

He is not required to carry out the test referred to in art. 3 the foreigner who:

a) is in possession of certificates or qualifications that certify knowledge of the Italian language at a level not lower than the A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for the knowledge of languages, issued by the University for foreigners of Siena, by the University for foreigners of Perugia, the University of Roma Tre and the Dante Alighieri company (certifying bodies,

b) you are in possession of a certificate that proves that the citizen has attended an Italian language course at the Provincial Centers for Adult Education and has obtained, at the end of the course, a qualification certifying the achievement of a level knowledge of the Italian language not lower than level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for the knowledge of languages,

c) who has obtained, within the scope of the credits accrued for the integration agreement pursuant to art. 4-bis of the Consolidated Law, the recognition of a level of knowledge of the Italian language not lower than level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for the knowledge of languages,

d) who has obtained a first or second degree secondary school diploma from a school belonging to the Italian education system or has obtained a first or second degree secondary school diploma at the provincial centers for adult education , or attends a course of study at a legally recognized state or non-state Italian university, or attends a doctorate or a university master’s degree in Italy,

e) foreigner entered Italy as: executive or highly qualified worker of companies with headquarters or branches in Italy, university professor or researcher with assignment in Italy, translator / interpreter, correspondent journalist officially accredited in Italy.
